REGULATION of the 9th “FRIENDS of MUSIC/PRO PIANO-ROMANIA” - 3, 4, 5 June 2011 – Bucharest/Romania
I. The manifestation is divided into 3 sections: - Section A is open to the participants who although are registered to a music school, but who have not covered yet a repertoire with a high artistic and technical level of difficulty, in accordance to their age; - Section B is open to the participants who take piano lessons but are not registered to a music school. - Section C – 4 hands Programme will contain one or 2 works, chosen by the participants(and for 3rd Section – C). For a better evaluation, the participants from cat. A and B will be separated into categories according to their birth year as it follows: Section A Section B 1st cat.- 2005————————max. 4’ max. 3’ 2nd cat.- 2004 3rd cat.- 2003 4th cat .- 2002 5th cat. – 2001————————max. 7’ max. 5’ 6th cat. - 2000 7th cat. – 1999 8th cat. – 1998 9th cat.- 1997————————max. 10’ max. 7’ 10th cat.- 1996 11th cat.- 1995 12th cat. – 1994, 1993, 1992 II. The programme will contain 2 works for both Sections, chosen by the participants, with the maximum cumulated duration(see upwards). The programme already established in the application form will not be modified afterwards. The participants will interpret the works in an order established by them. The participants’ entrance on stage will be made in an alphabetical order for each category. III. The participants will send until May 15th 2011(mail date) to the “Pro-Piano” Foundation, Prof. Stela Avesalon, Aleea Padurea Craiului no. 1, Bloc H3, Sc, 1, Ap. 11, Sector 3, Cod 032719, Office Postal 57, Bucharest – Romania, the following: - birth certificate copy - the application form, including the definitive program - a request on accommodation(hostel), if necessary - the participation fee of 40 EURO representing, payable directly to the organizers before attending the contest(or through Western Union – Money Transfer). If the participants are not able to attend the contest, the fee and the application documents will not be returned. IV. The transportation and the accommodation fees will be entirely covered by the participants. By ask, the organizers can offer hostel reservation. V. The following diplomas and awards will be given: excellency diplomas, merit diplomas, Special Prizes (for each group); best interpretation of a Romanian work diploma; awards offered by the sponsors. The diplomas and the awards will be handed only to the participants during the awarding festivity. Any materials made by the organizers, including the audio-video ones, are rightfully theirs. The members of the Jury are personalities of the Romanian and foreign classical music field. By signing the application form, the participants agree to the terms of the present regulation and recognize the Jury’s authority.
